5 Tips How To Be Successful In Network Marketing
Have you ever tried to build a network marketing company and just had no success?
Then you tried another company and still had no success, and you decided, “You know what, network marketing just doesn’t work.” Well I’m here to show you that there are some simple tips that you need to do to be successful in a network marketing company.
Be consistent. The biggest problem with people is they get started and they do a little bit for a short period of time. Than they do nothing for awhile and a little bit again, and then they do nothing. You get my point. This inconsistency will kill you and your business.
You have to be consistent. You have to make a decision each day and each week, “What am I going to do?”
I do my plan on Sunday for the week. You can’t work one week 2 hours, the next week 10 and the next week you don’t work at all. Decide what you’re going to do and stick with it. It’s about being consistent.
Be persistent. There are some days that I just would like to throw the towel in. I get no, after no, after no, after no, excuse, after excuse, after excuse. It’d be really easy just to be, “You know what, I’m done. Peace out. Had enough. You can’t. It’s your business.
I’ve been in corporate for 30 years and it’s easy because I know exactly what I have to do, and I make sure to get my job done. And if I don’t than I get in trouble or lose my job.
It’s so different when you start a network marketing business, or any kind of business. It’s up to you, so you have to be persistent. No matter how frustrated you get, you have to do it or your business will tank.
Treat it like a business. We’ve been talking about this but it’s important. If you treat it like a hobby it will pay you like one.
You know what I’m talking about. The attitude I might do something today or it’s nice out maybe I’ll take the day off and go to the beach.
You have to set your goals and have a plan, and do it. What I do is set my goals, and then I reward myself when I achieve them. When I get done what I need to then I get to go to the beach or I get to do something else that’s fun.
So if you need to do it that way, set yourself goals, things that you want to do, but you can’t do them until you get your work done.
Never, ever, ever, ever quit. That is something that our corporate trainer in our company always talks about, is don’t quit.
Not quitting alone isn’t gonna make you successful. But if you quit, you never have a chance. There are going to be good days, there are going to be bad days, hell, there’s gonna be bad weeks, but you still have to stay in the game. If you give up, you have no chance of ever winning.
Focus on money making activities. I think this is probably one of the biggest mistakes people make. They spend all this time on their business and none of it is money making.
For me, I’ve got that type A personality, everything’s gotta be just right. My list has to be perfect, desk has to be just right and the list goes on. Those things don’t make money.
In network marketing, it is prospecting, recruiting, showing, trainings, those are the money making activities. So you’ve gotta make sure that you’re focused on the right things.
